Southampton Suns 60 – 58 Sussex Storm
What a game and what a finish! The Southampton Suns secured a thrilling two-point victory over Sussex Storm in a tense contest that had intensity from start to finish.
The Suns showed great composure throughout, staying disciplined on both ends of the floor and matching Storm possession for possession. Momentum swung back and forth all game, but the turning point came in the third quarter, when the Suns dug deep and edged 2 points clear, setting up a dramatic final period.
Clutch plays, strong defensive stops, and calm decision-making under pressure allowed the boys to hold their nerve down the stretch and close out the win. It was a true team performance with contributions across the roster, highlighted by Maxwell Wheeler leading scoring with 16, supported by Alexander Filby (13) and Dhilan Watts (11).
