The Southampton Suns & Bournemouth Oaks Men’s National League Division 3 team represents the highest level of our club pathway.

 

National League Division 3 is a competitive senior basketball league featuring clubs from across the country. Throughout the season, the team competes in a programme of home and away fixtures, providing players with the opportunity to test themselves against strong opposition in a demanding national competition.The programme is designed for committed and ambitious players who want to compete at a high level.

 

Players are expected to maintain strong standards in training, preparation, fitness, teamwork and game-day performance. Competing in Division 3 also gives the club the opportunity to establish itself within the National League structure and work towards future progression. Bringing together talented players from across Hampshire, Dorset and the surrounding areas, Suns & Oaks aims to build a competitive senior team while maintaining the family values on which both clubs were founded.

The team completes our player pathway, beginning with our development academies and SSSB Development League before progressing into local league, youth National League and senior National League basketball. It gives younger players a clear goal and the opportunity to see where their basketball journey could eventually take them.
